Book Introduction
Triple Divorce Counts as One is a work by Mustafa Zalmi, translated into Kurdish by Ayub Ali Zalmi. The title states a particular position in a discussion of Islamic jurisprudence. The book is therefore best introduced as an opportunity to study the author’s argument and supporting evidence, rather than as a universal answer supplied by the title alone.
Understanding an argument in this field requires identifying the precise question being addressed. Definitions, circumstances and qualifications can affect the scope of a conclusion. Reading the full explanation allows a reader to see how the author moves from evidence to interpretation and from interpretation to the position expressed in the title.
Readers can record the sources cited and distinguish a quotation from the author’s explanation of it. Where other positions are discussed, examining the reasons for the disagreement is more informative than reducing the debate to a short list of conclusions. This approach keeps the work within a source-based and respectful scholarly conversation.
The Kurdish edition is relevant to students of jurisprudence and readers interested in the methods used in legal-religious argument. This introduction does not issue a ruling on a particular marriage or family situation. Such cases depend on facts and applicable requirements that a catalog summary cannot establish. The book can support understanding and further study, while its title should not be treated as an automatic determination of every personal case.
